Bio
Dawn M. Lucasey, MBA, CPHQ, CIHQ-IC & CMS, DPT, is a distinguished healthcare leader with three decades of experience in clinical practice, quality improvement, and organizational excellence. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac College and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from AT Still University, before completing her Master of Business Administration at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2024. Her academic achievements are complemented by recognition in Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies, underscoring her commitment to both clinical and business excellence.
Throughout her career, Dawn has been celebrated for her contributions to healthcare quality and innovation, receiving awards such as the Memorial Health System Quality Excellence Award and the Best in Practice Improvement Award. She holds advanced certifications including Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and CIHQ accreditation credentials in CMS and Infection Control. Her expertise extends to consulting, where she has served as a CARF International consultant since 2013, guiding organizations toward compliance, growth, and improved patient outcomes.
Dawn’s leadership extends beyond her professional roles into community and organizational service. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Association for Healthcare Quality and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the National Association for Healthcare Quality. Her past board service includes the Pregnancy Care Center of Springfield, the Spinal Cord Injury Association of Illinois, and the Statewide Independent Living Council of Illinois. In her current role as Director of Quality and Infection Prevention at Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation in Chattanooga, Tennessee, she continues to advance healthcare quality, safety, and patient-centered care.
