MBA, BSN, RN, CPHQ is the President of the Tennessee Association of Healthcare Quality (TAHQ)
Bio
Her career spans 27+ years as an RN holding several clinical and quality-based leadership roles. Her most recent professional role is as System Manager for Ascension Saint Thomas Health in which she facilitates and is part of the leadership team for several clinical priority goal projects that focus on Quality, Patient Safety, and Performance Improvement. She also has leadership responsibilities within population health focusing on reducing avoidable emergency department utilization. Prior roles include the role of Director of Quality for 200+ FQHCs and PCMH accredited clinics, and she has held several quality and leadership roles within a few major medical institutions within NYC and was also a Hospital Nursing Services Consultant/ Surveyor for the NYS Dept of Health (NYSDOH) from 2009- 2014.
Kimberly holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and she is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). She has received several awards of distinction including the Bee Award (2019) for providing extraordinary care to patients and staff. She has also been awarded the service excellence award twice from the Commissioner for the NYS Dept of Health (NYSDOH) for her work related to the catastrophic events surrounding Hurricane Sandy as well as for her work related to the closure of a major medical facility in NYC (St. Vincent's Hospital).
Kimberly Scully was born and raised in NYC prior to relocating to Murfreesboro, TN in 2017. She is married to her husband Mark and they share a blended family of five (5) children ranging in age from 14-32 years old. She enjoys spending time with her family, her friends, and her dogs Elsa, Lilo, and Prince. She is also a big NFL Football fan, especially the Kansas City Chiefs.
