Mandy Gay

Mandy Gay is an accomplished healthcare leader with extensive experience in nursing, operations management, and quality improvement. She began her career as a staff nurse at Middle Tennessee Medical Center, providing high-quality care on the medical-surgical unit from 2007 to 2010. Her leadership skills quickly led her into management roles, including serving as Nurse Manager for the Psychiatric Unit at Stones River Hospital.

In 2012, Mandy joined Trust Point Hospital as Nurse Manager, where she successfully launched the hospital’s Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) program and served as the ECT Coordinator. She went on to serve as Nurse Manager and Program Director at River Park Hospital beginning in 2015, where she opened a 10-bed geriatric psychiatry unit and oversaw nursing operations, patient safety initiatives, and staff development programs that enhanced clinical performance and team engagement.

In October 2022, Mandy transitioned to her current role as Quality Manager with Ascension, where she leads initiatives focused on patient safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous performance improvement across four hospitals.

Mandy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Economics and Finance from Middle Tennessee State University (2001) and an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Motlow State Community College (2017).
